Samsung Galaxy S5 - The Next BIG Thing

The upcoming Galaxy S5 will feature a 16MP camera packed with Samsung's Isocell technology, which focuses on capturing crisp, high-quality images, according to a new report.

Isocell technology ensures better light sensitivity on backside illuminated (BSI) sensors and delivers more natural colours as well as better low-light performance. The company has also revealed that its 16MP Isocell sensors will have 1.12micron pixels, lower than the ones in the new Apple iPhone 5S.

The company will launch the world's first smartphone with a bendable screen next year. Samsung suggested that Galaxy S5 features may include a foldable screen display boasting a 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution.
Samsung itself hinted the inclusion of such a feature on its annual Analyst Day. Samsung suggested that it will introduce the world's first Ultra High Definition 4K smartphones as early as 2015. Samsumg also hinted that 2,560 x 1,440 WQHD panels may make its debut on the Samsung Galaxy S5 next year, according toTrusted Reviews.
The new flexible displays are expected to replace the traditional LCD displays in current Samsung devices by 2015-2016. This technology opens a lot of possibilities in Samsung devices. Although unspecified by Samsung, the company can now make a tablet that can be transformed into a smartphone when folded.
A new exciting rumor claims that the Samsung Galaxy S5 could pack 4GB of RAM to go with its 64-bit Exynos processor, according to a new report by Korean site Digital Times.
The Digital Times report also added the the Galaxy S5 could release in "the first half of next year," which is a little surprising considering recent release date rumors suggested the smartphone could launch as soon as January.
However, some reports claimed that the smartphone will have a futuristic eye scanner. Also, along with a boosted battery life, the Samsung Galaxy S5 may come pre-installed with Android 4.4 KitKat that will herald new and improved features.
